[APRIL 9th,2021]

Crimes Against Asians Reward Fund (CAARF) is proud to announce the first Asian hate crime case that the fund has helped local law enforcement solve. On April 9th, 2021 around 2:30pm, an armed robber targeted EKE Motorsports, an Asian-owned car dealership, located in El Cerrito, CA. The suspect threatened employees, stole a vehicle, and struck a staff member with the car resulting in injuries. The $2500 CAARF offered to anyone with qualifying information directly assisted in apprehending the suspect. CAARF thanks the generosity of its donors as it continues to fight crimes committed against the Asian American & Pacific Islander community in the Bay Area.
